Never understood the one up top formation, really doesn't work for us without sakho

Bilic said this is more important than City, so I expect he strongest team we can put out

this game is more important than man city ,so this should be the strongest team available

This is a big game we must win, never been in the group stages before, the club needs to be there snf it be a new and exciting experience for all.
Strong team needed!

Same result as in the home leg last year would put us out.

Although unfortunately I think Valencia will start again as the loan striker against Man City again. I'd rather see Antonio and Kouyate rested for the bigger game and think that team would have the strength to see past a poor Astra team (I know they beat us last year - but we played kids, they've lost their main player and lost 5-1 on the weekend!)

Re: Team for Astra - 2nd Leg (1-1)
Reason gone for Nordveit is that now Payet and Lanzini back for City I cant see him starting on Sunday.

Kayoute and Noble can be rested for this. I think at the OS we should go through comfortable enough.

Re: Team for Astra - 2nd Leg (1-1)
I would go along with most of that but I think he will start with Payet, not Samuelsen. Can't see Tore being played in the middle so Kouyate in for him. Best scenario would be to get into a comfortable lead and bring on some of the youngsters - Samuelsen for Payet, Fletcher for Calleri and Browne for Noble - the skip needs a rest.
